I stumbled across this from somewhere and finally caught up. I like your characterizations. Very believable. A lot of Jack hating going on. I feel terrible for Sarah but I hope they don't hurt him - he's so tragic it's heartbreaking. He lost Tom and his son. Clearly his perspective is a little distorted. As a parent all bets are off when it comes to your children. You'd be surprised at the things you are willing to do. If someone had my child and they said I had to do A B or C to get her back - well lets just say you'd better get out of my way...
