Oh I think even if Jared confesses Sam has enough sense to know that Jared didn't give his parents any information, he wouldn't risk Jensen. Now Jack on the other hand would because they have something he wants and Sam isn't stupid not by a long shot so between the two of them he's going to know it was Jack that let the cat out of the bag.
